The Stamford Woman’s Club (SWC) was started by a small group of civic minded women in 1905. Soon afterwards it joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and this association continues to this day. For over one hundred years the Stamford Woman’s Club has contributed much to our community and has supported many projects with joyful satisfaction. The focus of the Club is leadership development and community service. To this end, SWC has provided funds for higher education for decades and this year we will provide $20,000 to Stamford students pursuing college degrees.Watch Full Movie Streaming Online and Download

The selection of scholarship winners is a difficult process as there are many fine applicants. Any high school senior with at least a B average can apply for consideration. The call for applications is made in January and scholarship winners are announced in early March each year. Interested parties should contact their guidance counselors in early January.
A photo of the scholarship winners with the SWC Co-Presidents, Cris Harter and Susanne Monasa and keynote speaker Dudley Williams can be provided after the ceremony.
